Certified by:  AAAHC: Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.  AAAHC is one of the most prestigious and rigorous of the out patient surgical certifying bodies.  The Morrow Institute has been fully certified by AAAHC with no interruptions and no citations since 1992.  Next certification due January 2010.

TEACHING RESPONSIBILITIES

Founder and Director of the Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship Program at the Morrow Institute (TMI) founded 1993.  This fellowship program is affiliated with:

1. The Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship Program at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.  The TMI Fellowship Program, associate director, is Norman Shorr, M.D.,F.A.C.S.,  who is the co-director of orbital & ophthalmic plastic surgery fellowship program at UCLA.

2. The American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS).  TMI Fellowship program evaluated and approved by Paul Carniol, M.D.,F.A.C.S., plastic surgeon, then director of ABCS Fellowship Programs.

3. The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS):  TMI Fellowship program evaluated and  approved under the direction of Richard Dolsky, M.D.,F.A.C.S., plastic surgeon, then President of AACS.  The Fellowship program was re-surveyed and re-evaluated on site in October 1998, by then AACS president elect, Peter Waite, MD, DDS, and then again on site in December 2002.  Evaluation of survey was excellent with no deficiencies.
